About Me:

I have provided counselling and psychotherapy in Derby since 2003 and am a postgraduate member of the Sherwood Training Institute (Nottingham). I have worked as a counsellor and therapist in a Derby Rape Crisis Centre.

I work with individuals on an open-ended basis for an agreed time period.

My approach to counselling and psychotherapy is primarily based around the therapeutic relationship. I also draw on a range of therapeutic theories such as Person-centred, Psychoanalytic, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and Object Relations psychotherapy.

I offer counselling in Derby, psychotherapy in Derby and my office is in Spondon Village, a few miles from Derby City Centre. My office is in easy reach of the M1 Motorway, Derby, Ilkeston, Borrowash, Belper, Burton upon Trent and Nottingham.

I am a member of the UK Council for Psychotherapists (UKCP) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My work is guided by their Codes of Ethical Practice.
